Responsibilities
Build and maintain Sevanun's patient-facing mobile application (iOS and Android) — used daily by patients and caregivers to monitor health, communicate with care teams, and access teleconsultation.
Implement real-time vitals data display, push notification systems, and alert workflows that connect patients to the Command Centre.
Develop the caregiver access feature — enabling family members, including those based overseas, to view their loved one's health status in real time.
Build and integrate teleconsultation flows within the app — scheduling, video/audio calls, and postconsultation summaries.
Work closely with the Product Designer and clinical team to translate care workflows into intuitive, accessible mobile experiences.
Ensure app performance, reliability, and security meet healthcare-grade standards — including data privacy compliance.
Contribute to API design and integration with the care platform backend, EMR, and Command Centre systems.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement cycles.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in mobile application development (React Native preferred; native iOS/Android considered).
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and mobile UI frameworks.
Experience with real-time data (WebSockets, push notifications, live data feeds).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
Understanding of mobile UX principles — especially for non-technical or elderly users.
Experience with app store deployment (Google Play and Apple App Store).
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience building healthcare, medical, or patient-facing mobile applications.
Exposure to HL7 / FHIR standards or EMR/EHR integrations.
Experience with video/audio SDK integration (e.g. Twilio, Agora, or similar).
Familiarity with HIPAA or healthcare data privacy requirements.
Background in startups or early-stage product teams — comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration.
